(HCI) from Carlos Enciso on Vimeo.

Human–Computer Interface (HCI), was some little random thing that I started working on during summer. I did all the C4D work on my laptop, so when I got back to school I actually had a chance to render everything out.

I wanted to play around with making it look as if it was playing on an older TV, so most of my time was spent on AE trying to Composite, distort, color correct, and doing audio.

Maxon Cinema 4d

Big BioData: Advanced Analytics from Citizen Inc. on Vimeo.

Big BioData sets are created by humans at a massive scale.

The data, processed by machine learning algorithms, reveals patterns that relate to the health of both individuals and larger populations.

These advanced algorithms are able to process huge data sets in a short amount of time, revealing knowledge and understanding that may never be uncovered by human eyes.

Seeing these patterns can lead to a deeper understanding about disease trends and early symptoms, leading to preventative, proactive medical treatments.

Such tools lend us an unbiased perspective into our health, allowing for the extraction of valuable insights that can help us anticipate our future selves and make better decisions about the actions we should take.

TakesCare - Samsung Galaxy & Gear 2 Health application from TakesCare on Vimeo.

If you could make sure your child is safe, wouldn’t you? If you could take care of the health of an older person you love, wouldn’t you? If you could feel secure and in control of your own health, wouldn’t you want to?

Now it’s easier than ever before with TakesCare app for Samsung Gear 2, and Samsung smartphones.

First of all, you can create a list of people, who will get a message if your health is in danger, and then by pressing a button on an easily accessed widget you’ll be able to send an emergency notification to your loved ones, doctors and medical center.

For even greater peace of mind, you can use myBRACE, a digital bracelet that will give those giving you aid access to the most important medical information as it’s needed.

If you’re looking after a child or an older person, you will, of course, want to know where they are. Thanks to the myLOC function you can check their location and set a safe area: a message will be sent to you if they leave this zone, so you can be sure that your loved ones are safe.

As for now, MyBiO tab is for presentation purpose only. Blood pressure or pulse presented there are NOT REAL DATA. They are randomly generated to show it’s potencial use. Real life data usage will be provided soon, with external medical devices support.

TakesCare in available in 16 languages. Soon it will enable online consultation with the doctor through e-medical office and provide access to patient card, medical calendar and specialist database.

Let “TakesCare” take care of You.

The landscape of medicine is changing, with providers facing more financial and

clinical accountability. To address these new demands, organizations are looking

at population health management to help improve patient care across all areas of

the health continuum. Population Health management offers great promise but it

requires key technology like patient risk stratification and actionable self-service

reporting.

All that and more is possible with Envision Clinical Analytics

ECA is a platform that enables hospitals and health care providers to quickly

indentify patient risk levels, make smarter predictions on future health needs,

improve quality of care, and better economically manage their practices.

This happens using predictive risk models to analyze patient demographics,

conditions and pharmacy data, producing a risk score with associated clinical

conditions. Use these scores to project expected financial cost and drive your

clinical interventions. Combining this type of clinical intelligence with your staff’s

professional judgment creates a formula for better patient outcomes.

ECA is installed at your facility and easily integrates with your EHR system

providing access from any browser or mobile device.

The next generation of health care calls for evidence-based data. See how you can

use your existing clinical and financial information to better treat your own patients

by requesting a free demo of ECA today.

Project AddApp from 87 Seconds on Vimeo.

Video created by 87seconds.com

Meet John. John pays great attention to his health and does sport and fitness exercises several times a week. John tracks his activities with a multitude of mobile tracking apps and devices. But how should he bring all this data into one place and find out what to do with the results?

Is there a link between his calorie intake and sleep quality? Or perhaps between his weekly running distance and blood pressure levels?

Meet Project AddApp.

Project AddApp is an online platform allowing people to integrate and analyze their fitness and health data. This platform will help John to:

1 CREATE data using one of the many integrated apps on the platform
2 VISUALIZE all the data in one place, with the possibility of exporting his data. It’s his data, not ours
3 ANALYZE data, create experiments and use our analytical tools to learn more about his body
4 ACT and transform the results of his experiments into real-life actions and check his development by updating his experiments

John creates experiments by choosing 2 existing metrics (visual: Create an Experiment) and making assumptions to see if there is a positive link (visual: Scatterplot graph & Timeline Graph). John can also see how the experiment works for other users and discuss both their personal difficulties and successes.

What if John wants to know his top 5 correlations? Project AddApp does it in just a few seconds, running thousands of combinations and filtering out all obvious and irrelevant combinations. (visual: TOP 5 feature)

What if John wants to know how one metric is impacted by everything else? Select the metric, the target and click the button! (visual: STAR feature)

Create data, Visualise it, Analyse it, and TAKE ACTION, with Project AddApp.
